A lifelong educator, Dr. Giselle Carpio-Williams is committed to \nsupporting educational excellence for all students, with a passion for \nelevating multilingual learners. She began as an educator and advocate \nfor multilingual learners in a dual-language school, followed by roles \nin coaching and leadership. Dr. Carpio-Williams earned her doctorate in \neducational leadership with her research emphasis on English language \nlearners. Her current role as Vice President Multilingual Advocacy & Content at HMH combines her passion for elevating multilingual students with her knowledge of educational trends to inform schools’ selections of programs that support success for all students.

Dr. Carpio-Williams is the Founder and Co-chair of the Employee \nResource Group HMH Unidos, which focuses on the education, professional \ngrowth, and celebration of employees who identify as Latinx and/or \nHispanic. She is a frequent speaker at educational and diversity \nconferences; her most recent presentation was Ensuring Educational Equity for Multilinguals at the NABE conference.
